Warehouse staff filled physical inventory count sheets by hand. A data entry team then manually typed thousands of rows into SAP every day — slow, error-prone, and burning hours.
Built an OCR pipeline that scans handwritten sheets, extracts item codes and quantities using computer vision, validates against SAP master data, and auto-posts inventory entries — no manual typing needed.
4-hour daily grind collapsed to 15 minutes of review. 94% read accuracy out of the box, with human-in-the-loop for edge cases. Data entry errors dropped to near zero.
